An automatic machine is a different animal from a semi-automatic one. A single fault on the control board can stop the whole programme, block the lock, or stop the machine heating water at all. That is why this work needs a technician who understands the control system, not just someone who can take parts off and put them back.

Do you repair the control board or replace it?
We always start by testing the board and its components and repairing whatever can be repaired reliably. If the board is damaged beyond a stable repair, we say so plainly and quote a replacement part.
What is the difference between automatic and semi-automatic?
Automatic machines control water, temperature and rotation through a control board and a programme, and their parts and service costs differ from semi-automatic machines. That is why we assign a technician trained on this type specifically.
How long does a control board fault take to fix?
Diagnosis usually takes 20 to 40 minutes. If we hold the part the repair is finished in the same visit; if it has to be ordered, we agree the date with you in advance.
Is it better to repair or replace?
In most faults repair is the cheaper option, and we will always show you the repair cost against the replacement cost so you can decide. Replacement is only justified when the repair cost approaches the price of a comparable new machine.
