What does the IE error mean on an LG washing machine?
IE means the machine has not reached the required water level in the allotted time. We start with the inlet valve, the filter mesh and the feed hose, and the cause is usually the valve or a blockage in the line, which is often fixed in the same visit.
What is the UE error and why does it appear?
UE means the drum is out of balance during the spin cycle, so the machine stops to protect itself. We redistribute the load, check the seals and the pulley, and confirm the drum has not lost balance through wear. If the code keeps coming back, the fault is usually mechanical and needs a part.
Do Direct Drive washing machines need different servicing?
Yes. Direct Drive motors do not use the conventional brush and commutator, and they need a technician who understands the control board logic rather than someone treating them as an ordinary mechanical motor. We service these models daily.
What does Smart Diagnosis mean on LG washing machines?
Each model stores its error history, which lets a technician read the fault code and what preceded it. The tool shortens diagnosis time and improves accuracy, and we use it alongside reading the error codes by hand.
How long is the warranty on an LG repair?
